More About the Role:

CACI is looking to hire a Business/System Analyst to join our growing VA Team.  We are looking for individuals that have federal financial management, Momentum, or similar COTS system experience (e.g., SAP or Oracle Financials).  Individual must have 1-2 years of experience with implementing COTS software. Must be able to work in Austin, TX location. Due to the contract, US citizenship is required.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • There is no clearance requirement to begin employment. However, as a requirement of continued employment in this position you will be required to obtain a Public Trust.

  • Individual assists with implementing a COTS financial system and will be responsible for analyzing, documenting, and configuring the To-Be business processes for a new federal COTS financial system.
  • Provide functional support and assist with documenting configuration requirements, functional design specifications, business processes, and user stories based on requirements.
  • Functional support with configuration responsibilities for the Momentum COTS solution.
  • Under the guidance of more senior subject matter experts, develop expertise in the COTS tool, Federal financial management business processes, and ERP implementation best practices.
  • Collaborate with other analysts to understand the organization’s business processes and legacy systems environment.
  • Responsible for identifying and reviewing requirements by business process area and develop test scenarios.
  • Provide functional support for testing such as developing test scenarios and documentation and performing validation testing for the core application and reports.
  • Elicits and documents business intelligence requirements and conceptual designs for new reports, metrics, and dashboards.


  • Good analytical skills, written and oral communication skills.

  • Initiative to quickly learn and put new skills to use


  • Self-starter, quick learner, and team player
  • Be flexible to put in the hours needed to meet tight deadlines; Flexibility to work around client's schedule. Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance required 


  • Experience with federal financial systems preferred. 
  • Experience with federal accounting principles preferred.
  • Experience with Momentum Financials a plus.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum 1 – 2 years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
