Joint Exercises Program Training/Exercise Support and Assessment Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Support planning processes that support the client's strategic plans in conjunction with the Headquarters, US Indo-Pacific Command (HQ, US INDOPACOM) Theater Campaign Plan (TCP) and analyze the TCP, including supporting Lines of Effort (LOEs), Intermediate Military Objectives (IMOs), Theater Campaign Order (TCO), Theater Strategy (TS), Theater Security Cooperation Plan (TSCP), and readiness objectives, including assisting with the preparation and implementation of event collection management plans. Provide efficient planning support, development, and analysis of the execution of the Joint Exercise Program (JEP) in HQ, USINDOPACOM in accordance with regulatory guidance. Support the improvement of HQ, USINDOPACOM training to enhance joint readiness through the Joint Training System’s phases. Support the development and implementation of the methodology and framework to conduct analysis, develop planning recommendations, and overall findings that will be provided at specific HQ, USINDOPACOM JEP events. Identify the tasks and effects associated with each exercise, build Measures of Effectiveness (MOE), Measures of Performance (MOP), associated indicators, and assist with the analysis feedback. Perform analysis, surveys, interviews, validation, and develop documentation to be used in the overall assessment framework. Generate planning and coordination in support of HQ, USINDOPACOM Senior Leadership Seminars (SLS) and academics sessions prior to the start of a JEP event and prepare briefs and assist with making recommendations for emplacement that best prepares the client for After Action Reviews (AARs).

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience in operations and planning with the US Armed Services, including Joint assignments

-5+ years of experience in the US INDOPACOM Area of Responsibility (AOR)

-2+ years of experience in working with US military operations and Combatant Command staff and Joint or combined exercise planning and execution

-Experience with US military assessment processes and techniques, tactics, and procedures (TTPs)

-Experience with basic computer applications, including PC and Microsoft products and databases

-Knowledge of the exercise Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) processes, Joint doctrine, Universal Joint Task List (UJTL), and Joint Mission Essential Task List (JMETL)

-Ability to be available for periodic temporary duty and international TDY travel

-Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and interact with senior government leadership and program managers

-Active Secret Clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of regional and country planning, campaign or contingency planning, or a US country team

-Graduate of JPME Phase 1
