GDIT is seeking candidates to support the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). Under the I2TS 3 task order INSCOM ensures reliable, uninterrupted availability of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Information Management (C4IM) including: networks, hardware, software, engineering, and specialized tools at the point of customer need to support INSCOM's mission. INSCOM and its MSCs provide the enabling layer to connect the Army and its tactical formations to defense and national intelligence agencies via tactical networks. The ability to provide mission critical intelligence is dependent on the successful use of its information technology (IT) networks worldwide.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
An I2TS 3 IT Logistics Technician:
- Performs Army logistics duties involving request, receipt, inventory, storage, issue, barcoding, accountability and preservation of individual, organizational, installation and expendable supplies and equipment
- Oversees the transportation of classified and unclassified intelligence IT equipment throughout the world
- Coordinate with Department of Logistics Transportation
- Works with customers and funding personnel to ensure appropriate funding is available to meet logistics requirements
- Support also includes, but is not limited to assistance in logistics management, equipment and spares database management, shipping and tracking, and managing an operational spares
- Analyzes standard contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements
- Develops logistics plans in order to enhance distribution of goods and supplies
- Follows established policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control
- Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times
Skills / Experience:
- Unit Supply Specialist (92Y) or Property Accounting Technician (920A) trained
- Experience with Global Combat Support Systems-Army (GCSS-A)
- Experience with the Army's Automated Systems Integration Database (ASID)
- Experience with Microsoft Access, Excel and Word
- Knowledge of Procurement Processes and use of the CHESS system
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Education Required:
- High School diploma/GED with 5-years of related experience, or Associate's degree with 4-years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 3-years of experience
Certification(s):
- Specific certifications may be required as determined by the Program Manager
- GCSS-Army (Supply) training cert OR other Army logistics systems training/cert

- Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contract
- Position may require lifting of objects (i.e. IT Hardware), reaching/bending/kneeling (i.e. plug in cables) and other moderately strenuous activity
