IT Developmental Training Specialist

       

The Enterprise IT Training Specialist (Developmental) Level I position Plans and coordinates the training and documentation for a new or changed information technology capability. Design and develop courses to support classroom and/or on-site training, including but not limited to, the
following areas: Administration of the Common Workgroup Environment 2 (CWE2) Local Area Network (LAN) and/or Field Server Architecture (FSA)
Installation and operation of the Sponsor’s foreign and domestic communications network, i.e. leased line services, satellite services, radio systems Tactical, Mobile Crisis Package training Installation and operation of various ancillary devices, routers, switches, and other network devices (e.g., Video Teleconference (VTC) units, Voice over IP (VoIP) telephones) used by the Agency and other IC Agencies both domestic and aboard. Agency developed, or Agency modified Commercial Messaging Systems, including, but not limited to; Lotus Notes, SameTime, Outlook.
Conducts the research necessary to develop and revise IT training courses and prepares appropriate IT training catalogs for both technical and non-technical personnel in IT. Trains personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops, seminars and/or computer based/computer aided training for uniquely developed organizational applications.

Qualifications:

•  Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline related to the specific skill or certified practitioner with a particular computer language, system or technology who can mentor and train others
•  1 year of comparable IT related teaching/training experience or work experience
•  Must possess a current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
