IT Clearance Sponsorship Program professional


SAIC is seeking junior- to mid-level Cyber Security Analysts OR Java programmers to support an exciting mission-oriented program for the Intelligence Community. This opportunity will allow qualified candidates with recent development or Cyber Security experience to be sponsored for a US Security Clearance. 

For Java candidates, responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Develop software using a variety of technologies including: Java, JavaScript, J2EE, SQL and third party APIs to interact with various databases and web services. 
  • Support the design and implementation of new deployment tools for an enterprise software portfolio, and assist in requirements analysis, software design, coding, unit testing, integration, installation and maintenance. 

For Cyber Security candidates, responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Manage all aspects of Information Systems (IS), data availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation. 
  • Implement and monitor security measures for communication systems, networks, and provide advice that systems and personnel adhere to established security standards and Governmental requirements for security on these systems. 
  • Develop and execute Government approved security policies, plans, and procedures; design and implement data network security measures. 
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and carries out penetration tests. 
  • Perform social engineering tests and analyzes technical security weaknesses. 
  • Research and maintain proficiency tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer and network vulnerabilities, data hiding, and encryption. 
  • Develop tools, techniques, training, and countermeasures for computer and network vulnerabilities, data hiding, and encryption. 

NOTICE: Upon receiving a U.S. Security Clearance, the successful candidate must remain in the position for a period of one year.


  • US Citizenship is required in order to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance 
  • 0-10 years of experience working in a Cyber-security or Java programming position or exposure through education 
  • Experience adapting easily to new and changing technologies 
  • Experience using tools such as Wireshark, Nessus, or Splunk OR experience with Java Programming 
  • Experience working across organizations, managing multiple, High-priority tasks 
  • Excellent written communication skills are required
