IT Asset Management Analyst

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a IT Asset Management Analyst based out of Redondo Beach, CA.
What You'll get to Do:
Selected candidate will be responsible for life-cycle of IT resources, starting with acquisition thru control and distribution, leading to disposition of a variety of vendors and resellers computing equipment. Will submit purchase requisitions using iBuy/SAP process and track through corporate Asset Smart database. Will manage the Integration Support Group (ISG) property IT database, supporting multiple M1 project and NGC capital assets. The IT Asset Management Analyst will also support the acquisition of technical service contracts and track engineer's time charging against worked performed and allocate to designated POs. The Analyst will maintain the COTS software license database, ensuring licensing information is appropriately allocated and maintenance renewals are current. Candidate will work with IT Managers in the development of enterprise wide IT purchasing standards, procedures, systems and serve as liaison to the Finance and Legal departments as it relates to the functions of the position. Ensure corporate and legal guidelines are followed for managing IT hardware and software assets. Provide support to the Project Security Office, Division and Project Business Offices, by providing asset information and managing the physical inventory control. Candidate will be responsible for asset budget preparation, coordinates with IT Procurement on receipt of purchase orders, invoice processing and reconciles changes in inventory.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for executing and maintaining procurements, physical and database inventory, and property control activities as delegated by Business Manager or Operations Manager
  • Control and Issue property identifiers, receive and tag assets, and maintain databases with equipment transactions
  • Participate in wall-to-wall property and inventorying audits for Government, Corporate, and Project contract requirements
  • Maintain stock records databases that reflect the transactions accomplished relative to ordering, receiving, costing, storing, issuing and returning of materials and supplies
  • Keep accurate records of serial numbered materials
  • Establish records for new items, proper identification of these items must be recognized by nomenclature
  • Receives incoming shipments or prepares material for shipment to include heavy and/or sensitive electronic equipment

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of related experience (property management, inventory tracking, asset management, and/or purchasing experience) or 7 years in lieu of a degree
  • Current SCI access or current DoD Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access prior to start date
  • Computer proficiency level using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • Experience managing Customer and Government property
  • Experience with iBuy and SAP tools and applications
  • Work experience in government property accounting or procurement
  • Experience working directly with Government personnel during property audits
