Intelligence Research Analyst

METIS is a Small Business providing training and education, intelligence analysis, and program management services to U.S. government and commercial clients around the globe. Our Senior Leaders, Subject Matter Experts, and Operational Specialists have direct, on-the-ground expertise in planning and executing the most critical missions our country and business sectors have faced – with current operations ongoing in the Middle East, South Asia, Afghanistan, Europe, and Africa.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance is required

Responsibilities:

Intel Research including:

  • The analyst shall perform supply chain threat analysis in response to request for information; produce all-source CI threat and vulnerability assessments; conduct open and classified research and analysis to identify CI risk to Treasury's information and communication technology associated with Treasury's supply chain; identify and collect unique Treasury information to satisfy national intelligence priorities; report and disseminate Treasury threat and/or vulnerability assessments to IC; and provide other analytic support to the OIA/OCI's mission to detect, deter, neutralize, and exploit foreign adversaries targeting Treasury's personnel, operations, information systems, and facilities. 

Written Intel Products:

  • Candidate shall synthesize intelligence and all-source information pertaining to a range of counterintelligence risks and/or threats into written intelligence products.

Topical Briefings:

  • Candidate shall provide briefings on a range of counterintelligence topic areas, to include foreign intelligence threats, terrorist threats, technical threats, and insider threats.

Requirements:

  • ACTIVE TS/SCI clearance is required
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ experience; or no degree and 9 years’ relevant experience including the following:
    • Possess experience or education giving the analyst knowledge of the process used to research and analyze intelligence information and finance related intelligence.
    • Researches intelligence and all-source information to identify individuals and entities involved in illicit activity, their sources and methods of financial, material, and logistical support.
    • Creates reports synthesizing intelligence and all-source information pertaining to such specific individuals and entities suspected of providing financial or other support.
    • Researches illicit finance methodologies and anti-money laundering regimes in targeted jurisdictions.
