INTELLIGENCE ARCHITECT/DESIGNER

Description

Mission Essential is seeking Intelligence Architects/Designers to utilize an array of computer software applications and systems to receive and transform textual, images, and graphic data into finished publication products for dissemination.  He/she provides technical advice on functions relating to digital mapping and graphic arts design production systems, maintains awareness and understanding of the Agency and intelligence community digital publishing and graphic arts regulations, standards, systems, and research and development efforts and programs and state-of-the-art commercial sector digital mapping and publishing and graphic arts technology.  He/she designs and prepares production templates.  He/she operates mechanical and computer graphics equipment to create presentations, digital images, briefing boards, and other visual media products, and produces storyboards, creates graphics and animation, along with coordinating packaging and duplication.  He/she designs/illustrates abstract ideas and concepts and graphically depicts technical subject matter for use in visual presentations and WEB design products.  He/she determines the visual requirements for print, web, or other media, envisioning and proposing solutions to satisfy customer requirements.

Minimum Requirements

Intelligence Architects/Designers must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph.  All personnel must be familiar with ODNI analytical standards.  Due to contract requirements, as an essential job function you must be qualified and able to travel to OCONUS locations on short notice. Due to contract requirements you must maintain a valid United States Passport and remain qualified to travel OCONUS on short notice. Intelligence Architects/Designers may be required to work extended hours or shifts as directed.

 

·         5 years of graphics artist/design type work.

·         Military or DoD experience preferred.

·         Must possess at least a basic level of familiarity with the CENTCOM AOR and organization.

·         Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in graphic art/design or equivalent defense intelligence/academic experience

·         Highly proficient in MS Office Suite (Adobe Acrobat read/write, Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Message Handling System (AMHS) and Record Message Traffic (RMT)

·         Experience in writing formal documents, memoranda and correspondence.
