Intelligence Analyst 5


Systematic Management Services, Inc. is actively seeking an Intelligence Analyst with experience acting as a Task/Program Manager. This work will primarily be performed in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.


Minimum Requirements:


Clearance:  Candidates must have a current/active U.S. Government Top Secret (TS) / Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance. Candidates must be willing to submit to mandatory drug testing.


Education:  A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college is required.


Experience:  Candidates must have a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant intelligence analysis experience supporting a United States Intelligence Community (USIC) agency.


Duties:  Intelligence Analyst’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:


  • Establishes methodology for problems which do not appear to be susceptible to treatment by generally accepted methods.
  • Reviews and evaluates incoming intelligence reports and information, collection plans, and programs.
  • Develops and projects data, draws conclusions, and estimates probabilities based upon knowledge of current and past intelligence situations, and an understanding of the significance of conditions and trends.
  • Provides specialized intelligence and threat analysis and production support;
  • Accesses and performs research on designated automated intelligence databases for the purpose of identifying information of interest to the customer, downloading the identified information to an appropriate medium, and editing the information into format(s) to be specified by the customer.
  • Provides intelligence and threat analysis of the information that is tailored to the customer's requirements.
  • Develops information and technical support documents, summaries, reports, presentations and other designated products in support of the customer's information and technical support requirements.
  • Presents briefings to personnel designated by the customer.
  • May provide leadership to lower level personnel.
  • Conduct massive data analysis to include development of query techniques, prototype programs and algorithms.
  • Conduct Analytical and critical thinking; (i.e. Understand problem set, review facts, make accurate observations and judgements and provide recommendations to management).
  • Write clear, concise and timely intelligence products that identify, analyze and collate disparate pieces of information.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use of word processing and Microsoft Office applications.
