Integration and Test Engineer 2/3

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as an Integration and Test Engineer based out of Redondo Beach, CA.
What You'll get to Do:
OVERVIEW: System Engineer to support efforts in the design and delivery of ground systems to support spacecraft and spacecraft payloads.
JOB DUTIES: Individual will be responsible for Performance analysis, interface development and test, design verification, test requirements analysis, and system integration and test planning and execution.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
This requisition may be filled at either a level 2 or a level 3.
Basic Requirements for a Level 2:
  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, Physics or other aerospace related field with a minimum of 2 years of work experience; OR a Master's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, Physics or other aerospace related degree, or computer science degree with a minimum of 0 years of work experience.
  • Active Top Secret SSBI security clearance with theability toobtain SCI access
  • Must be available to travel to international field sites to support system installations.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills necessary to effectively collaborate in a team environment and present and explain technical information.

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, Physics or other aerospace related field with a minimum of 5 years of work experience; OR a Master's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, Physics or other aerospace related degree, or computer science degree with a minimum of 2 years of work experience, or a PhD with 0 years
  • Active Top Secret/SSBI security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access
  • Must be available to travel to international field sites to support system installations.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills necessary to effectively collaborate in a team environment and present and explain technical information.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently under limited direction within the scope of an assignment and use independent judgment in determining methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria.
  • Must have excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to lead working groups and technical interchange meetings.
  • Must be an exceptional analytical problem solver and systems-level thinker.
  • Academic and work experience should include the support of several of the following disciplines: system installations, ground system design, computer and network security, risk management/mitigation, functional analysis of requirements, engineering cost estimating and work planning, design/integration and test, trade studies, performance analysis, interface control, remote sensing, orbital and vector mechanics, dynamics and control, optics, RF and digital communications, LINUX OS, and project management.
