Integrated Logistics Manager

Key Role:

Assist government procurement agencies with defining proposals, including RFPs, qualifying vendors, and applying knowledge of the defense acquisition process to support clients in the analysis and improvement of acquisition process, policy, and procedures. Devise innovative strategies for deploying and implementing new acquisition policy initiatives and measuring the effectiveness of implementation. Use quantitative analytical techniques to assess system acquisition process issues and develop risk reduction or mitigation approaches for improving acquisition or program planning, control, and execution. Support the client's integrated logistics management team in conducting support for monitoring and oversight efforts over all contractor shipbuilder integrated logistics support (ILS) processes, measures, implementation, tests, deployments, and sustainment. Review all relevant logistics and support requirements documents, provide analyses and assessments of contract and government processes in US Coast Guard (USCG), DHS, and DoD logistics element areas, and serve as a liaison with Project Management Office (PMO), Project Resident Office (PRO) members, product line managers, and other agencies to develop recommended courses of action for deployment actions of assets and their necessary support. Ensure successful and seamless merge of shipbuilder logistics databases with USCG logistics systems and track resources to provide visibility of facilities requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with logistics, acquisitions, contracting, operations, and business management

-Experience with Microsoft Office apps, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Project

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

-DoD Level II or III Certification in Acquisition Logistics

Additional Qualifications:

-BA or BS degree in Business Administration or Engineering
