Description
SAIC is seeking an Integrated
Intelligence Systems Engineer to fill a critical position on the
LANDMARK AOS program. LANDMARK AOS is a large SETA contract responsible for the
complete end-to-end life cycle of the customer's Ground Enterprise. The
position will be located in Chantilly, VA.
In this role, you will
provide analysis of alternatives, development of strategic options for
architecture, acquisition strategy and implementation solutions, acquisition
analysis and support, requirements management, readiness tracking, and
validation and verification of delivered capabilities to support the customer’s
mission, vision, and technical initiatives. You will interact daily
with senior government and Program staff to support a variety of high-priority,
high-visibility activities.
Responsibilities include
but are not limited to:
- Lead technical and programmatic interchanges; identify and
resolve issues
- Provide program management and improvement
recommendations to the Government customer
- Provide advice and support to manage programs
throughout the life-cycle including: cost, schedule, and performance.
- Provide acquisition and programmatic expertise to
support future systems and architectures
- Develop briefing and documentation material for Program
/ Project Manager’s engagements, including developing technical roadmaps
and the acquisition strategies/documentation to implement them.
- Engage across offices and acquisition programs, to
understand challenges impacting acquisitions
You will work
side-by-side with the other 200 LANDMARK AOS staff comprised of System
Engineers, Acquisition Engineers and Domain Engineers to lead the customer in
acquiring modern processing applications. This position offers growth
opportunities not only within the LANDMARK AOS program, but within SAIC.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph
- Bachelor degree in business, engineering, science, or
related discipline
- 5+ years total experience (Civilian, Military, or SETA
support) acquisition/Systems Engineering professional supporting DoD/IC
acquisitions
- Knowledge of systems engineering as applied to
satellite/ground architectures, spacecraft and payloads
- Strong engineering background with domain knowledge in Agile
software development practices and Cloud computing architectures
- Experience with strategic planning
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
Desired Qualifications
- Program Management Professional (PMP) or DAWIA Certification
in Program Management
- Expertise and experience with the IC acquisition cycle,
requirements processes, budgetary practices, and acquisition documentation
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) certification
- Certification in agile software development methods (Scrum,
SAFe)
- Experience transitioning legacy systems to AWS/C2S
optimized applications
- Experience in Dev/Ops delivery of software capabilities
