Installer/Field Technician with Secret clearance

POSITION SUMMARY

CACI has an Installer/ Field Technician 2 position to support the Mission Command Global Fielding at FT Hood TX. We are looking for qualified and available candidates willing and able to start on short notice. The position will provide CONUS Field Service Representative (FSR) support for PM MC Systems and other PEO C3T related systems (Fires, Command Posts and Platforms). Fires systems include Fire Support Command and Control (FSC2) family of Products. Command Post Systems include Tactical Mission Command (TMC) and Strategic Mission Command (SMC) family of products. Platform based systems include the Joint Battle Command Platform (JBC-P) family of products

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serves as member of installation team and performs a wide variety of basic level activities associated with installing, maintaining and servicing electrical/electronic/mechanical equipment.
  • Aids in the installation, removal or rearrangement of various types of electrical, electronic and/or mechanical equipment and related devices.
  • Responsible for testing, maintaining and repairing equipment at the customer/company site using various test equipment.
  • Understands and interprets basic schematics, charts, service manuals and parts diagrams. Applies basic technical knowledge of electronic principles to put equipment in operational condition and solve problems.
  • Works closely with others regarding scheduling and general technical requirements.
  • Maintains a project folder that shows the project phases from beginning to close out. 
  • Upgrades and downgrades operating systems by using various File Transferred Protocol (FTP) programs as needed.
  • Builds, develops and maintains productive relationships with clients and vendors while maintaining a high level of quality technical service.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a current Secret Clearance
  • Knowledge of FSC2, TMC, SMC and JBC-P

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Typically requires high school diploma or equivalent, and one to two years of related experience. Technical training equivalent to an associate's degree preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Physical demands may vary depending on the work location. Ability to stand; walk; stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Must be able to communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. May need to meet manufacturer's weight requirements for all equipment used. Required to sit at times; use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms and climb or balance. Travel my be required.
