Perspecta has an immediate need for a Information Systems Technician (IST) Training Specialist in the Washington DC area.

Description:  A training specialist will design, develop, and deliver hands-on training and eLearning curriculum for adult learners.
For the Information System Technician (IST) instructor  - Knowledge and skills in IST discipline such as  setup, configuration, and operate the secure and non-secure assets, processing message traffic and help desk support to the White House staff, USSS and members of WHCA who support the President, Vice President and First Lady of the United States.

Education and Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher + 2 years of experience; or 5+ years of military/business training experience.
• Show verifiable training and experience as one of the following: Information System Technician (IST)  or IST Lead
• Possess a current TS/SCI with Presidential Support Duty (PSD) clearance.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Required Skills:
• Experience developing courseware, writing training materials, delivering training, and setting up and maintaining a computer training environment, and using customer satisfaction surveys for course evaluation.
• Demonstrated experience writing training manuals (instructor and participant guides) and user manuals.
• Ability to design and produce training tools, such as printable job aids and quick reference guides.
• Ability to deliver train-the-trainer and instructor-led training.
• Ability to design and produce eLearning training material.
• Familiarity with standard instructional systems development models, such as ADDIE or Agile design.
• Ability to serve as the primary customer representative for development and delivery of customized training solutions and documentation.
• Ability to encourage classroom participation and facilitate change management for target audience.
• Ability to learn and apply customer needs/business knowledge to ensure client satisfaction of delivery outcomes.
