Information Systems Security Officer


This role will provide systems security expertise to an innovative technology team currently implementing state-of-the art information technology and software solutions to a mission critical customer.


  • Solve varied technical problems; and generate and review designs for technical accuracy, completeness and appropriateness in light of objectives, budget, and schedule, as requested by the customer
  • Develop solutions integrating and extending FOSS, COTS and GOTS products from multiple vendors for cross domain solutions, cognitive bias, socio-metric software studies of interaction and map visualizations
  • Develop services that ingest, harvest, distribute, store and display data for analysis objectives
  • Provide experience with Defense in Depth principles and technology including access/control, authorization, identification and authentication, public key infrastructure, network, and enterprise security architecture, to ensure system compliance and improvements
  • Provide knowledge of Federal, Intelligence Community and DoD Information Security regulations, publications, and policy, to ensure system compliance
  • Participate in the development of systems that process information with different classifications and categories that simultaneously permits access by users with different security clearances and denies access to users who lack authorization
  • Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs) for customer systems, and conduct systems requirements reviews
  • Develop system performance, availability, scalability, manageability, and security requirements for mid-to-large-scale programs
  • Develop, deliver, test and support integrated HW & SW systems with functional requirements
  • Implement solutions with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)-controlled access
  • Develop solutions certified and accredited at a DCID 6/3 PL3, the customer Information System Certification and Accreditation Process, and the appropriate Integrity Level of Concern and Availability Level of Concern


All Candidates must have a TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph

  • Qualified candidate will have a minimum of ten (10) years systems security experience
  • Technical Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • CISSP preferred
