Responsibilities

We are currently seekingInformation Systems Security Officer based in Chantilly, VA.

Must have an active/currentTop Secret clearance to be considered. Prefer SCI, or obility to obtain.

Must be a US Citizen and be eligible for DHS Suitability

JOB DESCRIPTION

Provides technical and programmatic Information Assurance Services to external customers in support of network and information security systems. Recommends system enhancements to improve security deficiencies and secures system configurations in order to determine compliancy

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides technical advice and solutions in support of network and Information Security systems
  • Provides Information assurance support for the development and implementation of Security architectures to meet new and evolving Security requirements - evaluates, develops and enhances Security requirements, policy and tools
  • Provides certification and accreditation support in the development of Security, contingency plans and vulnerability assessments - develops, tests and integrates Computer and network Security tools
  • Conducts Security program audits and develops solutions to lessen identified risks
  • Provides assistance in computer incident investigations – ensues the integrity and protection of networks, systems, and applications by technical enforcement of organizational cecurity policies, through monitoring of vulnerability scanning devices.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • At least 3-5 years of current experience in Information Assurance Analysis and ISSO experience
  • Utilization of Risk Management Framework (RMF) performing specific tasks/activities
  • Strong knowledge and experience with analyzing Nessus vulnerability and compliance scan results and the ability to analyze and justify false positives and understand the system/environment risk associated with a verified vulnerability
  • Strong knowledge and experience to create, maintain, and close POA&Ms, Risk Acceptance Letter, and Waivers
  • Strong technical experience in Azure or AWS cloud, web application interfaces and OS knowledge of windows and Linux.
  • At least 3 years of experience with reviewing/analyzing firewall rules

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION(S) REQUIRED

  • 3 - 5 years of related experience
  • Strong interperosonal skills
  • Self motivated and time management
  • Sec+ and or CISA preferred
  • CISSP preferred
