ASRC has an immediate opening for an Information Systems Security Officer
The candidate must be familiar with the DoD standards -- guiding the development of Cybersecurity policy, requirements, engineering and certification and accreditation. The candidate must be able to process systems for accreditation converting DIACAP certifications to the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and provide entry into the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) for record keeping. The candidate must be able to translate security policies and requirements into an Cybersecurity configuration implementation and application requirements for the purpose of documenting and accrediting systems. The candidate must be capable of performing network and host vulnerability scans and document results in relation to residual risk identification. The candidate must be familiar with network vulnerability scanners (e.g., ACAS, Nessus). The candidate must be familiar with patch management software (e.g. WSUS, Update Expert, SMS, McAfee ESM etc.). The candidate must have experience with Firewalls/IPS, IDS, Application level firewalls, and web content filtering. The candidate must complete incident handling processes and analyze data from scans. The candidate will implement and enforce security policies across the organization.
