GDIT is currently seeking a Principal Information Engineer in Washington DC to join our team. In this role you will be reponsible for the following task and responsibilities:
Support security scans and remediate findings. Maintain Information Assurance (IA) C&A Process compliance for IdAM system components. Provide support for Information System Security Officer (ISSO) personnel, IdAM/ICAM teams, engineering teams, and support C&A activities for any approved changes. In addition, provide support for implementation plans to be deployed into the operational environment to ensure compliance with IA guidelines or best practices. Assist the Government in preparing all required security Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) requirements, and remediating or mitigating risk or vulnerabilities listed in the POA&M document. Assist the Government by recommending corrective actions and implementing the corrective actions identified in the Security POA&M and, with the support and assistance of the ISSO/Information System Security Engineer (ISSE)/Information System Security Manager (ISSM), or others, provide visibility and status to the designated Authorizing Official (AO) or other relevant personnel.
