Information Security Instructor, SME

Key Role:
​Provide technical instructor support, including training support, training development, and classroom instruction. Demonstrate work on high visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program. Perform all functional duties independently. Oversee the efforts of junior staff or maintain responsibility for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with operating system and network security

-Experience with x86 assembly

-Experience with coding in C# or C++

-Knowledge of systems exploitation without the assistance of toolkits, including Core Impact or MSF

-Knowledge of reverse engineer security patches to discover the original vulnerabilities

-Knowledge of an attributed and published security vulnerability for any publicly available software, including a Common Vulnerability and Exposure (CVE)

-TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with typing a variety of materials from rough draft into final form, including narrative and tabular material, such as correspondence, reports, and forms

-Experience with maintaining records, historical records, survey results, reference library of training catalogs, regulations, and other miscellaneous publications

-Experience with establishing and maintaining office functional files and reference files

-Experience with knowledge management applications, including Training Development Capabilities (TDC) SharePoint and Blackboard

-Knowledge of performing office automation work, including word processing, electronic mail, spreadsheets, presentations, and other personal computer applications

-BA or BS degree

-Completion of the Common Faculty Development- Instructor Course, Support Cadre Training Course (SCTC), the Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC), or the Foundation Instructor Facilitator Course (FIFC)

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
