Industrial Security Specialist II

The selected candidate will support Future Aircraft Sensor Technologies (FAST) as an Industrial Security Specialist II. This position will require constant interface with all levels of management and frequent communication with government customers. Responsibilities will include security administration and performance of security tasks to support program operations, including but not limited to the following: providing guidance in the safeguarding of program information, processing of a medium to heavy workload of Program Access Requests (PARs), customer related forms (reportable scenarios), SIMs personnel security database management, maintaining and tracking of hardware, providing security guidance regarding program operations, supporting hardware and software delivery processes, assuring compliance with applicable government and company regulations, support self-inspection reviews, conduct security briefings, participate in the security education programs as well as other administrative security tasks as needed (i.e. parcel checks, COMSEC, alarm testing, UL cert testing, etc.).

Required Skills:
  • Top Secret clearance current within six (6) years
  • Minimum one (1) year of government or specific industry experience in administering Special Access Programs
  • Must have working knowledge of the NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07, Vols 1-4 SAP Security Manual and related references
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Refined teaming skills and understanding of team concepts
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain access as required by the program
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

Desired Skills:
  • Adept at multi-tasking and problem solving
  • Experience with SIMS and JPAS databases
  • Working knowledge of physical security standards (ICD-705 related requirements)
  • Willing to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment

Required Education:
  • High school diploma and 12 years directly related working experience or
  • Associate's degree and 8 years directly related working experience or
  • Bachelor’s degree 4 years directly related working experience or
  • Master’s degree and 2 years of directly related working experience
