Job Description

The Boeing Company’s Government Security team is looking for a highly motivated Industrial Security Manager to lead the North West region team. This position manages team members who are responsible for activities to protect information from unauthorized disclosure, including compliance assessments, implementation of security controls, and Investigations. The scope of this position will include National Industrial Security Program (NISP), Special Access Programs (SAP), and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) program security responsibility.

This position will also be responsible for (but not limited to):

 • Participate on Sr. Leader strategy teams within the Government Security and Security & Fire Protection organizations. Ensure organization strategy is communicated within the North West region and that operational activities align with the strategy.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, business partners, peers, and direct reports.
• Develops and implements integrated departmental plans to ensure business, technical and customer requirements are achieved. Assigns authority and responsibilities to first-level managers to execute the plan. Reviews plans' execution, makes appropriate adjustments, and resolves issues. Develops and advances business cases to support continuation of program, projects or processes.
• Ensure first-level managers are accountable for achieving goals
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Provide direction, coaching and mentorship to help develop team members.
The position will report to the Director of Government Security.

 Applicants for this position must have a current Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a final Top Secret clearance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • 10+ years of Security experience
  • 5+ years of experience leading Security disciplines/teams
  • 5+ years experience with change management
  • 5+ years experience as a manager or leader


This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

Applicant must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance and successful Counterintelligence polygraph.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree
  • Experience working with ICDs and DOD 
  • Experience working with Information Assurance Policy & RMF
  • Experience implementing process improvements
