Imagery Analyst Senior

Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:
Imagery Analyst provides topographic/terrain analysis, geospatial analysis, imagery ground station analysis to operators, requirements managers, and mission manager.
 
RESPONSIBILTIES:
Operates the multi-spectral imagery production (MSIP) system. Analyzes multiple imagery sources, commercial, theater and NTM and proficient in the area of imagery research. Reads related topographic data forms. Administer the Imagery Intelligence MAAS System and the proper requirements scheduled for finalization, processed and analyzed all source data from airborne, ground based and national collectors, as well as mapping on the GALE system. Analyzes topographic products such as shaded relief graphics, elevation graphics, slope and line-of-site graphics, route assessments, perspective view generations, bridge and tunnel assessments, urban area assessments, and waterways and river crossing locations and assessments, and the current working procedures for all TF Unmanned Arial Vehicle (UAV) activity. Researches and develops IMINT-related mission threads for the Integration Team to use in developing the OV-6a views. Collects all available system and sensor specifications for all Army, Joint and QRC IMINT sensors and their associated platforms using the Army IMINT Data Collection Template Ver08. xls (provided electronically under separate cover). Provides team leadership to other Analysts.
 
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Experience of 10 to 15 years of working experience. Senior Imagery analysis experience in the Intelligence Community at the national level. Attended either the Geospatial Intelligence Training Program or equivalent. Knowledge of soft copy exploitation functionalities. Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of REMOTE VIEW, IEC, NES, and common office software to include PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, word processing. Knowledge of the intelligence collection process. Knowledgeable of multi-spectral, commercial and NTM requirements and imagery exploitation. Ability to work in a very dynamic and demanding work environment with little to no supervision.  Supervise team of junior analysts.
Required: BA or BS in related field
DESIRED SKILLS:
Desired: Masters
 
 
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent and ten to fifteen years of related experience.
 
 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
