I2 Analyst Senior

Job Summary
The I2 Analyst Senior performs all-source and identity intelligence; biometric-related analysis and production, document and media exploitation, watch list management functions, coordinate reach-back support for deployed forces, and perform supporting tasks.
Principal Accountabilities
  • Responsible for the production of various Identity Intelligence (I2) products; managing I2 information utilizing MS office tools; and, creating or modifying biometric enrollment files and submitting them to appropriate repositories for comparison in accordance with all applicable SOPs and biometric standards
  • Coordinate with tactical / theater-level and national organizations regarding biometric intelligence information in order to facilitate information sharing and data synchronization
  • Conduct multi-layered, multi-intelligence analysis to define patterns of IED network activity in order to narrow the search space for the war fighters to conduct C-IED operations
  • Provide intelligence targeting support products and "reach-back" support to forward-deployed elements as required
  • Develop processes that focus on integrating all intelligence disciplines with operational planning in order to develop solutions to the IED problem sets
  • Develop intelligence products based upon command guidance, mission analysis, an operational perspective, and/or thorough threat analysis
  • Provide exploitation and asymmetric threat analysis including the identification, development, and integration of countermeasure technologies

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledgeable on intelligence research tools, such as Palantir, Tripwire Analytic Capability (TAC), BI2R, Query Tree, Combined Information Data Network Exchange (CIDNE), M3/AMHS, Analyst Notebook, open source research, Biometric Automated Toolset (BAT), TIDE, Pulse, Consular Consolidated Database (CCD), QLIX, or Google Earth
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Knowledgeable with basic computer applications to include search engines and data processing systems
  • Ability to operate independently with little supervision
  • Understanding of the Intelligence Cycle and research and intelligence analytic techniques
  • Ability to write complex Boolean logic queries

Experience & Education

  • Minimum eight (8) years intelligence analysis experience, to include one (1) year of I2/BEI experience OR a badge and credentialed Law Enforcement officer with at least eight (8) years of experience conducting investigations on an accredited Local/State/or Federal Law Enforcement Agency
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field; may substitute additional four (4) years of relevant intelligence experience in lieu of education
