I2 Analyst Mid

Job Summary
The I2 Analyst Mid performs all-source and identity intelligence; biometric-related analysis and production, document and media exploitation, watchlist management functions, coordinate reach-back support for deployed forces, and perform supporting tasks.
Principal Accountabilities
  • Responsible for the production of various Identity Intelligence (I2) products; managing I2 information utilizing MS office tools; and, creating or modifying biometric enrollment files and submitting them to appropriate repositories for comparison in accordance with all applicable SOPs and biometric standards
  • Coordinate with tactical / theater-level and national organizations regarding biometric intelligence information in order to facilitate information sharing and data synchronization
  • Responsible to research, analyze, and produce biometric focused all-source products in accordance with demanding standards under the direction of Senior Level I2 Analysts
  • Coordinate with CONUS and OCONUS theater and national level units/teams/organizations to facilitate and enhance sharing and synchronization of products

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledgeable on intelligence research tools, such as Palantir, Tripwire Analytic Capability (TAC), BI2R, Query Tree, Combined Information Data Network Exchange (CIDNE), M3/AMHS, Analyst Notebook, open source research, Biometric Automated Toolset (BAT), TIDE, Pulse, Consular Consolidated Database (CCD), QLIX, or Google Earth
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Knowledgeable with basic computer applications to include search engines and data processing systems
  • Ability to operate independently with little supervision
  • Understanding of the Intelligence Cycle and research and intelligence analytic techniques
  • Ability to write complex Boolean logic queries

Experience & Education

  • Minimum five (5) years intelligence analysis experience, to include one year of I2/BEI experience OR a badge and credentialed Law Enforcement officer with at least five (5) years of experience conducting investigations on an accredited Local/State/or Federal Law Enforcement Agency
  • High School diploma or equivalent
