Daily Responsibilities include:

  • ProvidesHelp Desk/Service Desk support of the US Air Force's Air Program Information Management System (APIMS)
  • Resolves technical problems and answers queries by telephone in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems
  • Diagnoses, identifies, isolates and analyzes problems utilizing historical database records
  • May route calls to product line specialists
  • Maintains and updates records and tracking databases
  • Alerts management to recurring problems and patterns of problems

Basic Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to pass a federal background check for a position of public trust


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Familiarity with Air Quality regulations
  • Familiarity and desire to work with relational databases systems (like Oracle)
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Experience providing technical support for software
  • Experience with Air Program Information Management System (APIMS)
