Job Description:

The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Help Desk Specialist I to work in our Huntsville, AL area.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Experience in standard help desk procedures. Logs all help desk interactions, tracks and routes problems and requests and documents resolutions. Experience as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting network applications and hardware and software PC and printer problems..

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below
  • Requires AA Degree, high school diploma or equivalent with 1 - 3 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Current Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with US Missile Defense Agency systems.
  • Experience in network infrastructure Level 1 and Level 2 help desk operations
  • Experience in training of end users in Operating System and SW application installation and operation.
  • Familiarity with Virtualization, particularly VMware/Vsphere.
