Job Duties and Responsibilities
As the Hardware Technician you will advise Government representatives while conducting routine preventative maintenance on large and small vehicles and fabrication of unique metal cabinets.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Maintain awareness of necessary routine maintenance and conduct maintenance in accordance with the Government provided schedule.
· Maintain necessary stockage levels of routine preventative maintenance parts to ensure all government scheduled maintenance is conducted in accordance with the government provided schedule.
· Assist various SMEs in the installation and preliminary trouble shooting of Telecommunication/Information Technology equipment installed in small and large vehicles.
· Maintain work area in a neat and orderly appearance.
Requirements:
· Minimum of five years performing routine preventative maintenance on small and large vehicles, including trucks and ancillary equipment.
· Journeyman skill level with to include metal fabrication, welding, and vehicular troubleshooting.
· Be familiar with the installation and troubleshooting of electrical equipment into vehicles.
· Requires travel (in the range of <5%) within the Continental United States.
Security Clearance:
· Must possess an active SECRET level security clearance to be considered for this position.
Qualifications
Requires Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science, Math, Electrical Engineering or related field) or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience.Degrees
