Senior Microelectronics Exploitation Engineer

Performs basic repairs and can diagnose simple problems. Requires guidance to complete complex tasks. Is familiar with basic test equipment use. Is able to perform simple data conversion and device imaging operations. Apply basic technical knowledge of and expertise in identifying, developing, and integrating technical solutions critical to the success of client and analyze and reverse engineer hardware, firmware, embedded systems, larger integrated systems, and internal system and external interface protocols. Work with higher level engineers to develop solutions to user requirements or resolve routine technical challenges. Assist with developing, documenting, and executing system test plans and procedures to ensure systems meet performance requirements, work with a diverse group of skill sets, and develop requirements for tools or applications. Assists with the completion of milestones associated with specific projects. Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of basic scope and complexity.

Become an integral part of a diverse team in the Mission, Cyber and Intelligence Solutions (MCIS) Group. Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission oriented Hardware Engineer, in the Chantilly, VA area, with strong Customer relationships. At ManTech, you will help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.

The NIS Division provides mission solutions to a wide range of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. This division consists of a team of technical leaders that deliver advanced technical solutions to government organizations. Our customers have high standards, are technically adept, and use our products daily to support their mission of protecting national security. Our contributions to our customers success is driving our growth.

A qualified candidate must have experience in several, and will work on projects pertaining to one or more of the following technologies:

PCB testing, repairs requiring expert soldering skill, and data extraction.
Digital media imaging, damaged media recovery and digital forensic analysis.
Determining functions and capabilities of digital and analog electronics.
System programming familiarity C, C++, ASM (MIPS, ARM, x86), Verilog, Python.
RF system and antenna experience.
Data communication implementation and standards (wired and wireless).
Linux and Windows operational experience.
Knowledge of high speed printed circuit board design.
Circuit board population, bring-up, test and debug.
Experience with power electronics, switching power electronics, and embedded power systems.


Position Requirements:

BS in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science, and 5+ years of related experience.
At least 6 months hands on experience in one or more of the following: data storage technology design and repair, PCB design and repair, logic analyzers and protocol analysis, computer programming.
Strong technical written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Experience with digital data extraction, damaged media recovery, hardware repair/recovery, printed circuit board, PCB, Electrical Engineering, Altium, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ad, BlueTooth, UMTS, GSM, CDMA, NFC, computer forensics.


Security Clearance Requirement:
Active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.
