Graphics Designer

Job Duties and Responsibilities


ManTech International Corporation is looking for top talent as a Graphics Design Specialist supporting our customer at the U.S. Government Customs Border Protection (CBP). The mission of the contract is to effectively and efficiently provide analysis in identifying cargo, individuals, conveyances that may present risk to the United States.  

The Graphics Specialist will:

  • Graphic Designer is being sought to support U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) Counter Network Division, a hybrid law enforcement/intelligence division focused on identifying and disrupting activities of transnational criminal and terrorist organizations. The goal of the organization is to develop and disseminate products to other DHS components, law enforcement and intelligence community agencies to support their specific mission sets.
  • The Graphic Designer will need to perform in a mission-driven environment and be capable and comfortable working in an open, bull-pen environment. Many of the Graphic Designer’s work assignments will be communicated orally by CND Leadership, team members, and the Graphic Designer will have to manage simultaneous taskings.
  • The Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing professional Intelligence Community and Law Enforcement reporting material and tell a succinct, compelling story through the use graphic images and art. Simultaneously, the Graphic Designer will have to help a Division begin to market itself and establish a clear and consistent message brand within the U.S. interagency.

 

 


Qualifications







Required Graphic Designer Qualifications:
· Graphic designer with 5-10 yrs experience supporting government projects, and government executives
· Professional self-starter who can work independently planning and executing assigned tasks and work well in teams
· Ability to multi-task and simultaneously support both immediate graphics/design requests while progressing on long term projects
· Flexible individual able to quickly adjust to changing requirements and rapidly revise work products
· Ability to convert basic PowerPoint, hand-written, or verbally communicated concepts provided by government customers into professional-grade products that effectively convey the customer’s message
· Expertise / Competency in standard professional graphic design applications
-   Intermediate to advanced photo manipulation capabilities
-   Illustrator / After effects experience
-   Ability to create/adjust vector graphics
-   Expertise with the Adobe Creative Cloud master suit of tools for PCs




· References and prior work product examples will be requested

· Current front-end UI/UX experience a plus.
