GPS Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

GPS SE&I test support for Space/Ground/User Integrated System Tests (ISTs). Support the full cycle (planning, execution, closure) of enterprise level testing for system/segment level requirement verification. Work directly with Government customers at the LAAFB and key stakeholders (ex. segment contractors, FFRDCs, AFOTEC). Support modeling and simulation related to assigned test activities. Support other test risk mitigation tasks such as System Integration Demos, evaluation of SE activities, cyber testing and test vectors.

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

- 8 to 10 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years with MS/MA or 3 to 5 years with PhD

- Engineering degree and/or relevant test experience
- Strong collaboration and teaming skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Knowledgeable of space-based systems or navigation systems
- Experience identifying and applying lessons learned or process improvements

Desired Skills:

- GPS experience
- Space vehicle and/or Ground system operator experience
- Coding experience
- U.S. Government systems acquisition experience
- Active SCI clearance
- Military experience
- Master of Science in Engineering, Mathematics or Physics
