Government Business Consultant (Client Advocate)

Perspecta’s Civilian, State and Local segment partners with the U.S. Federal Civilian State and Local governments to provide infrastructure services, business solutions, and digital transformation services that help them achieve policy objectives and integrate citizen-centric services.

Responsibilities

Demonstrated experience in consulting with a specialization in business and operational process change. Provides process engineering technical support expertise to production activities and plant projects to improve unit operations. Analyzes processes and re-engineering alternatives, with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment. Creates process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes to impacted Business Systems teams. Performs supply chain analyses and develops related recommendations. Uses analyses to develop recommended operational improvements, lowering costs and improving customer service. Recommends and facilitates quality improvement efforts, such as Six Sigma, ISO 9004. Has specialized experience in modeling business processes and requirements (using structured tools and techniques, i.e. use-case scenarios) and integrating them with data and system architectural models and requirements.

General Job Description

  • Engage with DHS clients to ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction with Perspecta IT services and solutions
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure technical projects and services meet client expectations and timelines
  • Handle client invoicing, funding, and task order management issues
  • Identify and close new business opportunities within client space
  • Advocate Perspecta offerings including cloud, cyber, data analytics and software development

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 6 years of experience, or a Master's with 4 years of experience
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS/Public Trust Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship Required
  • Strong written/verbal communications skills
  • Client engagement skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel
  • Experience in federal IT market (desired)
  • Billing/Invoice Experience (desired)
  • Experience with Configuration Management Databases (desired)
