As a Geospatial Systems Engineer on our team, you have the chance to support the Distributed Common Ground Systems - Army (DCGS-A)'s geospatial information operations. You would design, analyze, and develop geospatial solutions and product specifications for client infrastructure. Perform geographic information systems (GIS) analysis supporting the integration of client operations. Support DCGS-A staff on all geospatial concepts and their impact on client sites. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. On our team, you’ll be able to broaden your skillset into areas like preparing charts and diagrams outlining the GIS problem analysis and providing recommendations on change, upgrades, and operational paths forward. Analyze alternative means of deriving data input to select the most accurate, feasible, and economical methods. Define input and output file specifications, including file organization. Prepare detailed program specifications and flowcharts and coordinate system's installation with the DCGS-A Software Engineer Center. Formulate logical statements of user requirements and develop solutions through the application of systems and methods engineering and techniques. You Have:

-10+ years of experience with large system-of-system (SoS) integration

-5+ years of experience with ArcGIS Enterprise and the broader ArcGIS tools suite

-5+ years experience in operational environment integrating field support systems with AGC initiatives or special project systems, including Army terrain analysis and Geoproduct development using GIS applications and imagery exploitation tools with Army Geospatial Commands (AGCs)

-5+ years of experience in developing Web-based mapping applications with ArcGIS Enterprise and the broader ArcGIS tools suite

-Ability to travel up to 75% of the time

-TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED required

Nice If You Have:

-5+ years of experience with fielding DCGS-A software to Army units

-5+ years of experience with providing geospatial analysis or operations

-Experience with building or operating systems in the Cisco Unified Computing Environment (UCS) family of platforms

-Experience with a clustered blade server configuration preferred

-Experience with integrating Windows and Linux OS with Fiber Channel attached Storage Area Network (SAN)

-Experience as a senior-level Army system maintainer

-Possession of excellent analytical and time management skills

-BA or BS degree preferred

-Operating Environment Certification, including VMware V6.0+, Linux+, RHEL, Microsoft Server 2012, or Cisco Certified Network Associate
