Geospatial Analysis and Analytic Deployer, Trainer, and Instructor

Key Role:

Deliver in-resident and distance learning instructional programs in accordance with course requirements. Use instructional methods, including guided discussions, lectures, demonstrations, small group exercises, seminars, workshops, and laboratories. Employ instructional technology in instruction and training, including Blackboard. Conduct assessment strategies in accordance with course design, including instructor observation, testing, grading, and providing formal and informal student feedback. Apply subject matter expertise in the curriculum creation process, including content review and feedback to development staff. Teach instructional courses and apply expertise in developing and delivering technical training and educational courses in academic, commercial, government, or industrial organizations. Leverage expertise in geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) sciences, technology, and data science. This position requires travel.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience as a geospatial analysis instructor and trainer, including analytic deployment training

-Experience with the government operating environment in the intelligence community (IC) and DoD

-Knowledge of GEOINT tradecraft and learning

-Knowledge of using geographic information science and technology, statistics, spatial thinking, remote sensing, intelligence issues and social and physical science to characterize events, discover relationships and trends, and produce geospatial products

-Knowledge of geospatial analysis and the application of GIS and analysis of geospatial data to solve intelligence problems that may face the DoD or intelligence community (IC)
-Knowledge of ESRI GIS software and extensions and DoD, federal, and commercial data sources, standards, and models

-Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

-Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

-BA or BS degree and 4 years of experience with instruction or 10+ years of experience with instruction for an intelligence client in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience as an in-resident and distance learning instructor for a USG agency

-MS degree in Science

-Course instruction or teaching certification
