Geolocation Engineer (Up to 25% Profit Sharing Benefit!)

We are seeking a Geolocation Engineer to work at our Aurora, CO office.  You will learn the theory and implementation behind our current capabilities, with the goal of being able to improve and extend them to support intelligence, defense, and other government missions.  You will use your incisive data analysis skills and the ability to use and develop highly parallel and distributed software architectures with Linux as the fundamental operating system. This position enables you to support software design, development, integration, and transition into an operational baseline.

What You’ll Get to Do:  

As our Geolocation Engineer you will have the opportunity to:

  • Refine existing mathematical models and develop new ones in response to customer needs
  • Design, develop, integrate and test software based on those models so that it can become part of our operational baseline
  • Help define the requirements, CONOPs and architecture for future systems

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:


  • Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience


  • A minimum 10 years of related work experience.

Required Skills:

  • Strong mathematical background equivalent to a solid undergraduate minor in math, including proficiency with multivariate calculus and linear algebra, and an interest in the underlying mathematical theory
  • Strong background in software development
  • 3+ years programming skills in C++
  • Linux software development experience
  • Current TS/SCI with poly

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:  

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in a related field such as computer engineering or applied mathematics
  • Familiarity with non-linear optimization techniques and numerical analysis
  • Python programming experience
  • X-Midas programming experience
  • Exposure to phases of product development (concept, design, implementation, test, and production)
