GEOINT Analysis Instructor, Mid

Key Role:
Deliver in-resident and distance learning instructional programs in accordance with course requirements. Use instructional methods, including guided discussions, lectures, demonstrations, small group exercises, seminars, workshops, and laboratories. Employ instructional technology in instruction and training, including Blackboard. Leverage assessment strategies in accordance with the course design, including instructor observation, testing, grading, and providing formal and informal student feedback. Apply subject matter expertise in the curriculum creation process, including content review and feedback to development staff. Teach instructional courses and leverage expertise in developing and delivering technical training and educational courses in academic, commercial, government, and industrial organizations. Apply expertise in geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) sciences, technology, and data science.


Basic Qualifications:
-Experience as an instructor or trainer
-Experience in a government operating environment, including the intelligence community (IC) and DoD
-Knowledge of geospatial data and imagery analysis, including how to use image science, analytic methods, data science, open source research, and human geography to characterize events, discover relationships and trends, and produce GEOINT
-Knowledge of national imagery exploitation processes, policies, and production cycles and the principles and applications of geographic information systems
-Knowledge of GEOINT products and services
-Knowledge of GEOINT tradecraft and learning
-Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
-Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

-HS diploma or GED and 20 years of experience in a professional or military environment, BA or BS degree and 5 years of experience in a professional or military environment, or MA or MS degree and 3 years of experience in a professional or military environment

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience as an in-resident and distance learning instructor for a US government agency
-MA or MS degree in Science
-Course Instruction or Teaching Certification

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
