  • The GeneralManager shall be responsible for managing allaspects of a new Chenega 8a Subsidiary in the EH&F SBU including;operations, business development, budget, profitability and personnel management, leading to the successful growthof the Subsidiary.

Duties andResponsibilities:

  • Responsiblefor profitability, cash flow, business goals and objectives of the Subsidiary.
  • Monitorcustomer satisfaction.
  • Conductroutine visits with customers to ensure satisfactory contract performance.
  • Analyzemonthly and fiscal year to date budget versus actual revenue and profitperformance.
  • Meetspecific performance revenue and profit targets by division.
  • ReviewSubsidiary performance by business line reporting on revenue, profit and customersatisfaction.
  • Ensurecompliance with corporate standards.
  • Preparethe annual budgets and estimates at completion.
  • Leadfor bid and proposal activities with new and existing customers, as well asidentifying and closing contract renewal opportunities.
  • Ensureprograms and proposals are within scope, cost, and schedule.
  • Provideday-to-day leadership and management to meet the mission and core valuesestablished by the SBU.
  • Supportinternal and external processes.
  • Providetimely, accurate and complete reports on the Subsidiary.
  • Develop,communicate and implement growth strategies for the Subsidiary.
  • Motivateand lead a high performance team.
  • Facilitatea success-oriented, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Representthe Subsidiary with major customers and business partners.
  • Managessubordinate supervisor(s) who supervise employee(s); is responsible for theoverall direction, coordination and evaluation of these units. Carries outsupervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies andapplicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and trainingemployees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance;rewarding and disciplining employees.

MinimumQualifications: (Toperform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform eachessential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of ten(10) years' experience (without degree), six (6) years' experience (with degree),working as a Program Manager, Director or higher level in a Government Contractingbusiness with profit and loss accountability.
  • Experience in theEnvironmental, Healthcare or Facilities field a plus.
  • Must be able to travelat least 30% of the time.
  • Must be able toobtain a clearance at the Secret level and to upgrade to a Top-Secret level ifrequired.

Knowledge, Skillsand Abilities:

  • Ability to createshort-term and long-term business capture plans
  • Ability toself-manage daily activities to achieve customer capture goals
  • Skilled in teammotivation and team building.
  • Regulatory knowledgein government contract management, awards, execution and performance.
  • Knowledge of the useof a variety of market research services/tools in the identification ofbusiness opportunities
  • Excellent writtenand verbal communication skills.
  • Excellentinterpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong analyticaland relationship building skills.
  • Good organizationand time management capabilities
  • Knowledge of internetsoftware, computer literacy, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, proficient ability toenter and manipulate data.

  • Theemployee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment,with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
