General Clerk III / Workload Lead

PAE has immediate openings for General Clerk I on the 2nd shift to join our team

As a General Clerk III / Workload Lead at PAE, you will multi-task and interact with supervisors, peers, clerks and our government client. 

 Essential duties and responsibilities for the GCIII position include:

  • Assisting in a variety of administrative matters (as assigned by the supervisor)
  • Maintaining a wide variety of records (stored manually and electronically)
  • Verifying statistical reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Compiling information as required for reports and statistical purposes
  • Providing guidance to clerks in accordance with the SOP, in process specific procedures
  • Coaching and assisting clerks in process improvement
  • Making recommendations to supervisor for re-training of team personnel based on established quality/productivity criteria
  • Handling day to day duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Verifying data and making computer updates
  • Serving as a technical expert for processes 
  • Adhering to all contract policies and procedures

Leads are under general supervision. 

The Basic Qualifications for this position are as follows:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain an Office of Security and Investigations (OSI) background check and Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) suitability determination
  • Strong command of the English language both verbally and written
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

Minimum Experience, Education and Licensure:

  • Associates Degree. Three years of related work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • Three years or more related work experience

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • The position is considered a production lead position and requires subject matter knowledge and judgment to complete assignments using applications applicable to the team’s assigned task. Subject matter knowledge regarding Teleview, CLAIMS, and the NFTS are a must.
  • The GCIII must have a general knowledge of National Business Center processes and a thorough knowledge of the basic functional steps required for most of those processes.
  • Must have the ability to accurately communicate questions and answers
  • Demonstrate a professional work ethic
  •  Administrative and organizational skills
  • Basic Computer skills

Work Environment:

This job is mainly performed in an office environment but may also include warehouse and file operations environments.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as: lifting, standing, sitting, reaching, twisting, sealing envelopes, filing, and reading.
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 45 lbs. and push large carts
