G3 Training Specialist


SAIC has contingent opportunities for G3 Training Specialists.  These positions are contingent upon contract award and will be located at Ft. Benning, GA.


SAIC has multiple contingent openings for Training Specialists to support the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE) G3, at Ft Benning, GA. The candidates selected shall provide services for normal operations within the integrated G-3, which include skill sets of planning, training, scheduling, managing, analyzing and coordinating, and communicating throughout the various organizational divisions. Within the organization, functional cells are billeted in as close proximity as is possible and practical. Required for all personnel assigned to the tasks described herein is a solid foundation of military knowledge, and application of that knowledge in the various operational aspects, not only for the individual tasks and functions, but the interdependency and interaction of each function.


The objectives of this contract are to provide support in critical functions, including:

a). Management: Installation Training Management/Centralized Taskings;

b). Planning and scheduling: Air Operations; Ceremonies and special events; Staff Inspection Program; Long Range Planning Calendar and

c). Other Support: Strategic Analysis




EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree plus a minimum of eight (6) years military experience is required. Prefer graduates of U.S. Army Captain's Career Course or equivalent mid-level service school, or Senior NCO Course.

REQUIRED SKILLS: All candidates’ resumes must depict having comprehensive knowledge, expertise, a minimum of three years related experience at the Major Subordinate Command (MSC) level to perform tasks related to:

  • Three years minimum experience planning, preparing and executing range and other training IAW DA PAM 350-38 or current equivalent.
  • Three years experience in managing a program by means of conducting program planning implementation and training as required.
  • Three years training and operations experience in the planning and executing of established Military programs.
  • Experience and ability to give guidance in implementation of proper procedures and policy required.
  • Prior military background required with experience in military organizations and structures.
  • Ability to work in all terrains including indoor and outdoor conditions.
  • Must have excellent computer skills and be proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills are required.
  • Candidate must be customer oriented as well as have the ability to operate independently.
  • Ability to obtain & maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required. 
  • Candidate selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and/or facilities.
