We’re looking for a developer with the advanced skills needed to build solutions for the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) from vision to production-ready system.

This role is more than just coding. We need a full-stack developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. Using a variety of technologies on an Agile delivery team you’ll build solutions enabling the CDC to perform a variety of technical, scientific, and administrative tasks. You’ll analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you’re developing considers the current architecture and operating environment as well as future functionality and enhancements. You Have:

-1+ years of experience with object-oriented programming languages in an academic or professional environment

-1+ years of experience with client or server-side Web development in an academic or professional environment

-Experience with two or more of the following technologies in an academic or professional environment: C#, Entity Framework, ASP.NET MVC, IIS, HTML/5, SCSS/CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular, jQuery, TFS, or Git

-Ability to execute directed programming implementation tasks as per instructions or documented specifications

-Ability to update technical documentation, including architectural diagrams or technical specifications

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases

-Experience with Azure or similar Cloud computing environments

-Knowledge of client and server-side Web technologies and protocols

-Knowledge of common application and Web design patterns

-Public Trust clearance

-BA or BS Degree in CS, Mathematics, or a related technical field
