Summary:
· The ForensicTechnician IVshall be responsible for acquiring, preserving, analyzing and producing digitalevidence for the Security Exchange Commission (SEC).
Duties andResponsibilities:
· Responsiblefor securing digital evidence;
· Provideexpert guidance on the extraction, transfer, and storage of electronic data soas to preserve the integrity of the evidence; documenting the chain of custody;and preparing reports and other written material for forensic experts andattorneys concerning the production, analyses, and preservation of electronicevidence.
· Otherduties as assigned
MinimumQualifications: (Toperform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform eachessential duty satisfactorily.)
· Master’s degree or PhD in a related laborcategory field from an accredited college, university, school or educationalinstitution that has been accredited by accrediting bodies or organizationsrecognized by the US Department of Education.
· Experience in initiating, supervising, and/ordeveloping requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex toextremely complex programs;
· Provides strategic advice, technical guidanceand expertise to program and project staff;
· Provides detailed analysis, evaluation andrecommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenanceefforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues;
· Consults with client to define need or problemsupervises studies and leads surveys to collect and analyze data to provideadvice and recommend solutions.
Knowledge, Skillsand Abilities:
· Must be able to work effectively inan extremely pressured environment.
· Must have and use excellent oraland written communications skills.
· Must be proficient with Microsoft2010 or newer programs.
· Abilityto provide favorable credit history
· Must be able tocommunicate clearly with both technical and non-technical parties and be ableto communicate technical details to non-technical parties in a clear andconcise manner.
· Must conform toSEC forensic protocols.
· Ability to work on high-visibility programs andperform all functional duties independently.
· Ability to oversee the efforts of project staffand be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.

· Theemployee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment,with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
· Duringvisits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weatherconditions. Is occasionally exposed tofumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
