Financial/Control Account Manager - IRES - SAFB

The Financial/Control Account Manager (CAM) supports the Missile Defense Agency on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The CAM will be responsible for the financial performance of the contract task order and will provide design/build of facilities projects. The CAM will work with the Scheduler and Project Managers, as required, to establish control account work scope, budget, and schedule to support development of the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). The CAM will need to function as the scheduler if required. The CAM will lead baseline reviews for the Task Order together with the task order manager and scheduler. They will determine and ensure compliance with the earned value management system and encourage early detection and analysis of variances and guide preparation of risk management plans. The CAM will work closely with the task order manager and the responsible Director to accurately forecast staffing levels and skills needed to support ongoing updates to the Estimate at Complete (EAC) and keep them appraised of their overall financial posture and funding authorizations throughout the period of performance. The CAM will deliver work in accordance with the Earned Value Management (EVM) System Description and supporting process documents to ensure they remain in compliance with DoD standards. The successful candidate will have excellent collaboration, verbal, written and interpersonal skills; experience working independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. This position is located at Schriever AFB, CO. Relocation assistance may be available.


Basic Requirements: Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: A HS Diploma (or GED) and 12 years general experience; an Associate’s degree and 10 years general experience; a Bachelor’s degree and 8 years general experience; a Master’s degree and 6 years general experience. Must have 6 years of directly related experience in business, finance, or project management and 3 years in a management/leadership role. Must be proficient with MS Office products and cost accounting systems; proficient at cost/finance analysis and estimating; working knowledge of EVM or PMP requirements. Active DoD secret clearance or the ability to obtain is required. Resumes must be submitted with application in order to be considered for the position. Desired Requirements: Experience using an earned value management system (EVMS) and associated software systems such as MS Project, Deltek Cobra, MPM, wInsight, Empower; cost analysis or business/data analytics experience.
