Perspecta has an immediate need in our US Public Sector group for Financial Analyst and Herndon VA.

Review financial activity and accrue expenses as needed in support of financial statements.

Analyze and reconcile General Ledger accounts to identify and resolve all complex discrepancies.

Gather and analyze financial data from various systems, and create and present reports to senior managers and make recommendations.

Work in numerous financial systems.
Education and Experience Required:

  • TS/SCI with Poly required
  • Bachelor's degree or higher and 5 years experience
  • Ability to obtain extensive knowledge of Finance procedures and policies specific to the area of assignment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to compose and deliver responses to employee questions in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated by developing relationships and networks with coworkers and customers.
  • Ability to use financial systems as information management and decision support tools; ability to understand and utilize the data retrieved from the tools.
  • Ability to interact with customers
  • Ability to adapt to changing work requirements and priorities.
  • Ability to obtain extensive knowledge of Finance procedures and policies specific to the area of assignment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
