Finance - Pricing Associate, #4046

LinQuest is seeking an entry-level Finance - Pricing Associate to join our team at our office in Los Angeles. The Finance - Pricing Associate will work in a team within LinQuest’s Pricing and Program Control organization to provide proposal pricing and other financial support to both internal and external customers.



LinQuest is seeking a highly motivated individual with strong work ethic to excel in a high-paced Government contracting environment. We are seeking candidates with excellent communication and quantitative skills as this position will require frequent interactions with Program Managers, Contracts, Accounting, Business Development and other functional staff. This position is within an evolving team in a fast growing company, and there are many opportunities for skill diversification and career advancement.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Updating and enhancing existing cost models and/or templates in MS Excel.
  • Proposal narrative development in MS Word
  • Gathering, validating and organizing finance data for estimating and cost/price analysis
  • Performing budget calculations/analysis/forecasts
  • Cost estimating
  • Maintaining our timekeeping system

Required Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Ability to gather quantitative data, analyze, interpret and present in a clear manner
  • Ability to learn new software tools

 

 

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, a related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience and/ or working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance is required to be considered for this position

 



Preferred Experience:

  • Cost/Price Proposal Experience
  • Government Procurement Experience
