Operations Support Officer

Key Role:

Provide analytical budget, financial, and program oversight support for intelligence community operational programs, including the review of operation strategic assessments and quarterly documents for congressional oversight, development of risk mitigation strategies, and drafting correspondences to the field. Assist with oversight in program planning, budget formulation, and execution of government resources. Perform financial transactional activities, execute financial reports to analyze financial data, and support government managers with the definition of operational goals and strategies and managing resource strategies. Support management consultation for programs, including administering subsidy programs, preparing required support to foreign government reporting, ensuing compliance to program standards, and assisting with the plans and approval documents. Assist program managers with the preparation, renewal, and revision of approval documents, including ensuring they are consistent with policy, and review spend plans, quarterly reporting to congress, and other program documents. Support program managers to ensure operations are comply with intelligence community regulations and other applicable guidance, progress is measured and reported, program goals are achieved, adequate resources and authorities are available, strategic and contingency planning is conducted, and applicable accounting, financial, and logistical procedures are implemented.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with a US government client, agency regulations, client financial systems, client financial reporting databases, cable traffic, and government funding practices

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with government plans

-Experience with audit or IG work

-Experience with supporting the inter-workings of congress, including intelligence subcommittees

-MS degree in Finance or MBA in Finance
