Field Support Representative III



  • Provides the highest level of technical expertise related to oversight, development and execution of fielding operations.
  • This shall include:
    • Mission planning support and integration of Nett Warrior (NW) with other mission command systems; field level maintenance and technical support to units on NW and Tactical Communication and Protective System (TCAPS) systems and support equipment;
    • NW hardware and software updates to units;
    • assistance with the operational use and employment of Capability Set Radios and Waveforms used by NW;
    • coordination with unit leadership on NW and TCAPS related items;
    • coaching, teaching and mentoring on the employment and effective utilization of NW and TCAPS systems and support equipment in tactical operations;
    • collection of prioritized recommendations for improvements in NW software, TCAPS, integration with other Capability Set systems, or the sustainment of NW;
    • tracking, monitoring, and reporting new and ongoing integration projects;
    • and support for unit training and deployment missions.


  • Possess knowledge and experience in:
    • the Armys Capability Set software defined radios (PRC 154A or PRC 155 or PRC 117G) and associated Capability Set waveforms (SINCGARS or Soldier Radio Waveform);
    • Army mission command applications (Land Warrior or NW or Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below or Joint Capabilities Release or Joint Battle CommandPlatform);
    • and strong oral communications skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills with ability to coach, teach, and mentor, and the desire to communicate innovative ideas in a collaborative environment.
  • Able to travel domestically and overseas in support of demonstrations, design reviews, speaking engagements (up to 25% if needed).
  • Demonstrated strong oral and communications skills.
  • Strong working knowledge on Microsoft Office tools to include Word, Excel, Project Outlook, and Power Point.
  • Must hold and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Education and Experience:
    • High School/GED AND > 14years
    • Associates > 12 years
    • Bachelors in non Directly Related Field > 10 years
    • Bachelors in Directly Related Field > 5 years
    • Masters in non Directly Related Field > 5 years
    • Masters in Directly Related Field > 0 years
