FADE-MIST Ops Integrator/Tools Trainer (Intelligence/P4)

What You’ll Get to Do:

As our community-recognized subject matter expert working as a Multi-INT Ops Integrator/Tools Trainer, you will leverage your strong analytical skills and operational perspective in support of ongoing analytical, engineering and training-related efforts associated with the development and integration of  FADE’s Multi-INT Spatial Temporal (MIST) Toolsuite, which is rapidly gaining popularity as a tool of choice for many IC and DoD intelligence analysts.  You will be embedded at a customer location, serving as the focal point for all things FADE/MIST-related, and will independently spearhead efforts to integrate our tools and multi-INT methodologies directly into the customer’s mission space.  This includes not only support to analytical efforts, but also demonstrations, senior-level briefings and localized training to the organic workforce.   In addition, you will have ongoing interaction with factory operations, engineering, development and outreach team members, working across the program to identify and define customer requirements while bringing an operational perspective to subsequent factory development activities.    

Travel: This position requires up to 50% travel to both customer locations and the Denver area for collaboration with factory personnel.

More About the Role:

  • Present briefings, provide demonstrations and conduct complex FADE-related training events (lecture, classroom and hands-on approaches) representing the capabilities offered in MIST, INTELBOOK, LINX and WATCHBOX.
  • Independently engage in efforts to introduce and integrate FADE tools and related methodology into specific customer mission sets. Will participate in efforts related to the installation of program software on designated equipment, and must be comfortable with the timely troubleshooting of unforeseen issues.
  • Monitor and analyze strategic and operational intelligence information; contribute from a FADE tools’ perspective to customer operational planning efforts. 
  • Provide research support for analysts producing DoD and Intelligence Community reports and briefings.
  • Work in parallel with factory agile software development and associated training efforts to remain current with the release of new tool functionality.
  • Ensure training addresses all levels of user, spanning a variety of different mission applications.  Work across the team to ensure the programs are delivering the most effective tools training possible.
  • Bring significant operational and analytical perspective to ongoing tool development activities.  As a subject matter expert, this individual is expected to engage heavily in this capacity.
  • Research, gather input from the team, and prepare technical/user manuals to support training efforts.
  • Work with engineering, technical support, and product owners to ensure that materials are accurate and reflect current product features.
  • Create, gather, review and analyze course evaluations to determine effectiveness of training sessions.
  • Capture customer requirements/feedback, and collaborate with factory for possible inclusion in future development efforts; clearly articulate customer requirements and recommended tool enhancements to the factory engineering/development staff.
  • Remain informed of and maintain proficiency with applicable company products.  Individual should have a solid understanding of other corporate development activities outside his/her program.
  • Create, review and update training materials such as student handouts, lesson plans, overhead slides, and practical exercises as required.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Poly (or agreement to take)
  • EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent and at least 7 years of related military and/or government professional experience supporting a cryptologic mission
  • Ability and willingness to travel as necessary (up to 50%)
  • Minimum seven years’ (preferably more) experience performing analytical work in support of the DoD and/or Intelligence Community
  • Prior experience supporting US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM)
  • Subject Matter Expert in at least one intelligence discipline (preferably SIGINT), with a solid understanding of how a multi-INT approach is used to address community challenges
  • Prior experience using MIST, INTELBOOK, LINX and WATCHBOX in support of multi-INT analytic efforts
  • Previous multi-INT analytical experience
  • Prior training, instructor and course development experience
  • Previous experience supporting both DoD and Intelligence Community customers, to include interactions with community seniors and military officers to include Director and General Officer levels
  • Solid knowledge of Geospatial Information Systems (GIS)
  • Proven organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communications skills; ability to brief seniors and contribute to written documentation
  • Established detail-oriented analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work with and support end users with varying levels of technical competence - government, military and contractor
  • Team player with the ability to also work independently with limited supervision or oversight
  • The ability to incorporate independent research into customer requests for information (RFI)
  • Prior experience using JIRA software - understanding of or experience in agile software development
  • Ability to articulate customer requirements and potential tool enhancements to factory engineering and software development efforts

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of NRO systems
  • Strong multi-INT background with s strong emphasis on SIGINT
  • Experience with Activity-Based Intelligence (ABI) and Object-Based Production (OBP)
  • Knowledgeable in a wide range of communications technologies
  • Experience using or familiarity with Bōdhi
  • Ability to articulate customer requirements and potential tool enhancements to factory engineering/software development efforts
