Executive Dining Room Manager

 

Sodexo Government Services has an exciting opportunity for a Premier NEW Account within The George Bush Center for Intelligence and we are seeking an Executive Dining Room Manager

The selected candidate will have full oversight of front of the house operations and special events within an exclusive fine dining Members only Dining Room that is a destination for politicians and diplomats. This operation is Monday thru Friday, 52 weeks per year and is closed on all Federal holidays.

Security clearance will be required, which will include a polygraph interview. US citizenship is also required.

We are looking for candidates who will:

  • have oversight of daily FOH operations (dining room and catered events)
  • deliver high quality food service;
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
  • create a positive environment; and
  • ensure Sodexo Standards are met.

The ideal candidate:

  • experience in all aspects of restaurant or cafeteria operations, Customer Service, Cash handling, HR responsibilities, Financial Reporting, Marketing and promotions;
  • minimum of 5 years’ non-supervisory experience in food service industry; 
  • management experience in fine dining.
  • has ability to train and hire food service staff;
  • has basic culinary / food presentation knowledge and is knowledgeable in safety and sanitation compliance;
  • has strong hospitality skills;
  • has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
  • can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed;
