Entry-Level Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and zero to two years of related work experience. Applicants with a masters degree are also eligible.

Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

GDMS has an immediate opening for an Entry-Level Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer to join our Scottsdale, AZ team. The position provides an opportunity to develop the cutting-edge technology that supports our nation's fundamental defense services. GDMS employees work closely with esteemed clients to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.
The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to build and ensure adequate functionality of various GDMS and client technologies. Entry-Level RF Engineers research, design and develop RF and Microwave circuitry for use in information processing hardware as well as various electrical components, mechanisms, materials, circuitry, equipment and processes. In addition to defining the requirements necessary for RF hardware system architecture, you will:

 

  • Evaluate system performance, implement test plans and handle design documentation
  • Be responsible for integrating and interconnecting GDMS hardware units
  • Be responsible for the design, analysis, schematic capture, layout and test of RF circuits
