Key Role:
Assist with the planning, implementation and capability integration of communications networks. Support the assessment and optimization of network design through review and assessment of user needs. Conduct feasibility studies for large projects, analyze vendor schedules, and identify risks and dependencies. Function as a lead providing guidance and training to less experienced analysts.
Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with satellite, airborne, or terrestrial communications systems design and development, including technical interface design
-Experience with creating technical reports or briefings to summarize complex integration challenges and propose solutions
-Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team to develop high-level communications architecture descriptions
-Ability to write technical documents
-Ability to use Microsoft Project to develop systems integration timelines
-Ability to create and present briefings to senior clients to describe system integration plans, progress, and risks
-Top Secret clearance
-HS diploma or GED required
Additional Qualifications:
-Knowledge of Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) systems, requirements, and architectures
-Knowledge of DoD Risk, Issue, and Opportunity Management Guide and DoD Risk Reporting Matrix
-Experience with project management practices and principles
-Experience with Microsoft Project, including add-ins, such as OnePager Professional or Milestones Professional
-TS/SCI clearance preferred
-BA or BS degree
Clearance:
