Responsibilities:

Description:

The successful candidate will have experience as a full stack web developer, capable of producing high-quality visualizations for senior level decision making as well as subject matter experts. Canidate will be able to work individually and in group settings to provide rapid prototyping of visualizations. Candidate will help conduct Analysis of Alternative (AoA) studies for new and upgraded software, as well as assist with their implementation plans. Specific task responsibilities may include:

  • Development and deployment of graph data store queries and statistical algorithms against to identify patterns, trends and issues in both architecture data sets to support enterprise engineering and IT acquisition planning and decision making functions
  • Outreach and engagement with industry, academia and other Government agencies and programs involved with the use and development of emerging MBSE approaches methods and techniques
  • Develop architectural assessments, presentations, white papers and other analyses, as required
  • Communicate architecture concepts and demonstrate value to customers not versed in architecture principles
  • Be able to learn and utilize various javascript libraries (D3.js, Leaflet.js, Bootstrap 4.0, JQuery, etc...) to create web applications.
  • Develop visualizations through the entire lifecycle of concept, design, development, and maintanence.
  • Architecture liaison to identify and extract architecture data sets to support enterprise engineering meta-modeling and modeling activities Show a willingness to stay up to date on the current best practices and tools.
Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
  • 1+ years in Systems Engineering or related field
  • 1+ years’ experience with IC, NSG or NGA operations (including mission partners)
  • Development of analytical algorithms using R or Python
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to independently execute work tasks in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment
  • Superior interpersonal, written and communications skills with the ability to interface with different personalities in a range of positions, including many at very senior levels.
  • 2+ years with data visualization tools
  • Experience with programming in HTML5 and knowledge of web based visualization libraries such as D3 and Leaflet.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
  • Knowledge in architecture development and analysis (Preferablly DoDAF), requirements and Interfaces analysis
  • Knowledge of MBSE  approaches, methods and techniques applied to the development of integration of enterprise and system level architecture products
  • Systems modeling and analysis using SysML or UPDM
  • Experience with any of the following MBSE tools: MagicDraw, CAMEO,  CORE, Innoslate, IBM Rhapsody, Unicom System Architect
  • Knowledge of graph data stores and querying technologies
  • Knowledge and understanding of the GEOINT ground systems
  • INCOSE Certification
  • Working knowledge of agile engineering principles, Scrum agile, or SAFe Agile methodologie
  • Experience working with database (e.g. Neo4j, MySQL, Cassandra)
  • Prior use of content management and version control tools (e.g. GIT)
  • Knowledge or prior use with Business Analytic Tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik Sense)
